Start/Finish: The course starts at 5pm on Friday and finishes at 1pm on Sunday Deposit: £100 per person Group size: Maximum 8 photographers Fitness level: A reasonable level of fitness is required as most locations involve walking, sometimes over uneven ground and occasionally uphill. Equipment needed: Film or Digital SLR camera; tripod; neutral density graduated filters Where we stay: Glencoe Hotel, Glencoe Village |

| Trip Details Friday 5.00 7.00pm We will meet at the homely Macdonald hotel Kinlochleven where I will give a presentation about my approaches to landscape photography. 7:00 - 8:00pm Dinner Saturday 7:00 - 9:00am We will be on location for first light! This is really where it all begins. The moods and changes of the weather within the glen may show us something special. 9:00 - 10:00am Breakfast. Back to the hotel for some food and wamth before taking an hour out of our schedule to relax, have a shower, take a rest. 11:00 - 5:00pm Shooting outdoors in and around the surrounding glen. I'll be covering aspects of composition with you all in an informal setting. Each member of the group is encouraged to explore the surrounding location. 5:00 - 6:00pm On location for sunset in Glencoe 6:00 - 7:30pm Critique session & digital workflow. We will select one shot from each member to discuss and I will show you how the image may be improved and the steps involved from RAW file to final print. 7:30 - 8:30pm Dinner Sunday 7:00 - 9:00am On location for sunrise in Glencoe. Another morning and another chance at First Light! 9:00 - 10:00am Breakfast. Back to the hotel for some food and warmth and to relax for an hour. 11:00 - 12:00pm Presentation - What have we learned? And what are the methods and approaches required for good landscape photography. 1:00pm Close of workshop. |
